Broiled Meatballs
Jump to recipe
Broiled meatballs are the perfect weeknight dinner.
Easy to throw together and quick to cook, meatballs have saved me more times than I care to admit when I have no idea what to do for dinner.
Honestly, I was never a fan of meatballs until my mother in law taught me how to make them for Sunday dinner. 15 years later, I’ve tweaked the recipe and now make meatballs at least once a week.
Of course I recommend serving with my Super Simple Red Sauce. If you’re short on time, any jarred sauce will do (but we recommend Rao’s!).

Preheat Air Fryer to 350 degrees.
Place meatballs in basket, once preheated.
Air fry at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Flip half way through cooking time.
Ingredients
- 1.3 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Large Egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup Seasoned Panko Breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Jarred or homemade Marinara Sauce
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to Broil.
- Spray a large cookie sheet with non stick spray.
- Combine ingredients in a large bowl, using hands. Using a cookie scoop or hands, form into 16 balls.
- Place on oiled cookie sheet 1 inch apart, flatten slightly. This keeps the meatballs from rolling when flipped.
- Broil for 6-8 minutes until browned. Remove from oven. Using tongs, flip the meatballs over.
- Return to oven. Broil 4-5 minutes more, until browned and 160 degrees internal temp.
- Serve with warm Marinara Sauce.
